So, yeah. Hi. Still alive and breathing and whatnot. I have sadly joined the ranks of "checks daily, reads everything, never comments". *cough* Or more like "reads everything, bookmarks to comment later, never thinks to check bookmarks dammit".
No massive happenings. Snagged a Darkness Bunny since last I updated (which makes me very aware of how long it's been). Have experimented with making all kinds of food. The last experiment was pumpkin oatmeal cookies with dark chocolate chunks and oh my god someone get me out of the kitchen. (So good. Just froze 3/4 of the batch so I wouldn't have to stare at them all when I open the refrigerator. Smelling them baking was torture.) Going to see "a certain someone" in a few weeks so much yay to that. My printer was on death's door and then suddenly seemed to have made a recovery that I can't explain and don;t care to because as long as it works again, I don't have to buy another one. My poor speakers finally kicked the bucket after 7 years, though. They received a solute and potential plans to take them apart to see if I can play with their insides. *psychotic laughter* Ahem. Got new speakers on sale which are pretty damn fancy, but the bass isn't quite as full. It works. Was really happy to be able to participate in the limited edition Pusheen pin. Sometimes my decisions are about what might make dead friends smile, what can I say. You call it morbid, I call it a decent reminder. (I'm also disturbingly aware that if I ever actually do manage to complete a Black Tiger cosplay, I'll have to wear the pin.)
And there has been so much fucking snow. Goddammit, New England, what's your problem? ...Oh, right.
Finally found a bag of Sriracha chips. I'm a little concerned about the seemingly American habit of adding sweet to everything that's spicy, but they're good. This is my super-exciting review.
Cassie's good, though she got a nosebleed and scared the shit out of us since that was the first time she's ever had one. She got checked out, with blood work, and the vet says she's in perfect health, so it may just be "that time of year".
Personal health has actually been pretty good this year... up until about three weeks ago. So yeah, I can tell it's "technically" spring, but it's not spring yet, so I don't look forward to my body's reactions there. But whatever, I'll deal.
I certainly hope the rest of you have been well out there! Some post often, some barely, some not at all. Either way, it's good to hear from all of you. And yes, I do actually mean that.
