Steps taken after storm warnings:
1.) charge handheld consoles
2.) order pizza enough to last through the weekend
3.) come up with a half-serious plan to stand in front of the dog while she's "doing her business" outside to guard her from the wind
4.) laundry
While I'm generally thinking that any storm which has the forecasters telling people to fucking panic and the goddamn grocery stores to advertise special storm savings is not one that needs to be worried about so much, may my fellow east coast-ers take care of themselves and stay safe. And order pizza. APOCALYPSE PIZZA IS THE BEST PIZZA.
