Project OMGWTFF, Day 19 - Forced to stop a bit early today due to, you know, pain.  That’s fine, though; after finishing the back legs and hips, I sort of realized that to make sure I have everything properly balanced... I’m going to need those front legs first. *rubs temples* Ah well, those are started.

Project OMGWTFF, Day 20 - Holy crap, day 20. ...Right, progress.

So, hands. And fingers. And thumbs. And half of one arm. ...I wonder if I will live long enough to see the completion of this insanity. Why am I doing this?

Project OMGWTFF, Day 21 - There are finally four full legs!

...Too bad they’re not attached to the body at all yet, but little steps. Why am I doing this?

Project OMGWTFF, Day 22 - IT STANDS. It’s messy as hell, there’s no detail and the wings aren’t attached, but IT STANDS. ON LEGS. STANDING.

--Wait, why am I doing this?

Project OMGWTFF, Day 23 - Details, details. And more details. General detailing here and there and "adding stuff" to both the body and wings. Perhaps tomorrow I will attempt to join the two. That's going to take... some doing. Yay for total lack of planning! Why am I doing this?

Project OMGWTFF, Day 24 - Have to stop really early today because this genius played with heavy gauge sterling silver wire this morning and I'm feeling it all the way up my arms now. Still, the wings are attached to the body. Cleaned up body and wing detail. Just the bit where the body and wings attach to bridge and that will be done. Then... so much more little detail work to do, but it’s that much closer to being done. Even so... why am I doing this?

Project OMGWTFF, Day 25 - (Today.) THE WINGS ARE DONE. Not just mostly done, not just "done except this one little thing", but DONE-DONE. Done. Attached fully to the body and doooone.

Of course there’s this everything else, ha ha. Still, yay accomplishment. Celebrated by sweet, sweet caffeine. But it still must be asked: why am I doing this?

LOTS TO CATCH UP ON, I know. Reading all of that immediately brings to mind "Diary of a Madman", but nevermind.

I have been having a time all month, but especially the past week, and demand my fully cybernetic body right fucking now, thanks. *waits* ...The universe can sometimes have abysmal customer service, seriously. I generally prefer to remain silent when I'm "having a time" otherwise I will just wind up complaining, and that is just suck.

But while I'm complaining: Bandai, will you please deploy your robot ninja army of Wild Tigers so I can lose a chunk of money and gain some awesome? Please? Let's believe Bandai? Yes? Money for action figure porn? C'mon.

So in everyone's interest, links! Jesus Appears on Miracle Nintendo. But that's not the best part. The reaction: "'If it is Jesus,' [the current owner of the console] said, 'I think we can finally put the big question to bed...What Would Jesus Play?'" A NES, BITCHES. 'Cause Jesus is oldschool.

Some jackass at ITV confused video game footage with "real life". But that's sad and to be expected. The real joy is this bit of the comment thread. I am easily amused.

I think this will make every Zelda fan smile.

Sideshow finally showed their Rinzler Maquette!!! ...It's $324.99. Well nevermind, then. I'm happy with my pony herder.

It's not just Black Tiger making me grin like an idiot. I love AI in general. So An algorithm that makes robots appear more human is really interesting to me. Some day I need to sneak into MIT and play with all of their wonderful toys, I swear.

And now I go... try to remember what it is I was going to do after I posted this. Hm.
