I would have another bracelet finished today, but I ran out of beads, ha ha ha. Ha. Haaa. ...It sucked. But I already put another order in, so now I just... wait. And get myself into trouble with other things, hooray! Still don't know if I can get back to the needle felting or anything involving sanding or carving, since my eyes are still getting really easily irritated and this is almost the most annoying thing ever. I have things to do.

...Like finish up fills, I know. I will get there, I swear. (Like so very many replies... *cough*) Keeping this faulty body comfortably functioning is a little like bailing water in a boat that's been under machine gun fire. ...Maybe not quite that bad, but close. And it's been cloudy and raining for quite some time so I have no idea what the fuck it's reacting to now. There's no smell or sign of mold or must, clearly I haven't been out in the sun, diet hasn't changed dramatically, wasn't bitten by a radioactive spider that I know of, so... whatever. Cybernetics, hurry the fuck up. Makes it a little hard to get into the writing mindset, is what I'm getting at. This kind of seriously sucks, but it's undoubtedly a "phase" that'll pass rather suddenly and for no explainable reason. And then there's the typical allergy "oh god where's all the phlegm coming from?", so that's fun too.

But I did make cookie dough tonight. This is accomplishment enough. Tomorrow I may even bake it successfully. Oooohh.

What else... Oh yeah, someone got me hooked on Tiger & Bunny. *grin* Damn I hate waiting for shows to update. The internet has spoiled me (in so many ways!).

21 years ago yesterday was when the world lost its already tentative hold of Jim Henson. You will get no moment of silence here, no mourning--but you will get a continued celebration of his life, his hilariously disturbing sense of humor, and how deeply his works inspired and influenced me, and so very many others. You can find so many incredible behind-the-scenes bits on YouTube that prove that the man's legacy lives beyond him. I personally have a long list of complaints about the direction his company has been taken in since his death, but I'd like to hold out hope that there's still some light at the end of a disturbingly lifeless and dark tunnel. I catch glimpses of the bright and shining light here and there. (Also if anyone can't find Of Muppets and Men, Inside the Labyrinth, The World of The Dark Crystal or The World of Jim Henson on Great Performances, I have low quality but still perfectly watchable AVIs.) You fucked me up good, Jim. Thank you. *grin*

This is exactly how Toy Story 3 would have ended if I had written it, by the way.

Steven Lisberger and Joseph Kosinski are cautiously optimistic about Tron 3. I totally understand. That said, dammit, more Tron. AND TOYS THAT ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE TRON/BOXLEITNER. I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT'S THAT DIFFICULT.

A couple of teasers and some info about The Monster of Nix. Looks quite interesting.

And finally, Masters of the Universe art. Oh god the memories.

Now if you'll excuse me, Golden Earring is on the MP3 player and I have people to embarrass by singing along. (Alright, well, a dog--but she's people.)
