Nearly forgot. The number of glass beads here? 14,393. Anyone else feel a bit sick? Probably not. Add in the Hylian Royal Crest Corset Cuff and that's 17,407 beads. ...*shudder* I'm just going to shove that information straight out of my brain now, thanks.
Spent today tagging and packing, and I dare say I'm mostly done with shiny things. All the regular chocobos managed to fit into one carry-on-sized bag, so that was... incredible. Trying to get everything else packed into boxes for safety and ease, but we'll see how that goes. I also still need to put the chicks in their eggs... but you see, upon opening the eggs and discovering the smell of plastic death (worse than a bootleg, I swear to the gods of toys and action figures), I decided the only course of action was to individually wash and dry each shell of each egg. ...I am either insanely devoted or ridiculously stupid, but I accept the possibility of being both.
So I guess Almecha KOS-MOS is finally actually going to get released. And it's only twice as much as Figma's. *cough* Honestly, I... thought I'd like it more, but the face is really bugging me. (Why must she always look on the verge of crying, somehow? I don't recall this being the case in the games...) And, well, Figma's KOS-MOS has the blue eyes face, which convinced me that yes, I did need to pre-order immediately. ...And is, you know, a hell of a lot less money and all the guns, so hey. I will wait. Gladly. I am helping Japan's economy, shut up.
And while I'm talking toys here, this 1/10 scale lightcycle is gorgeous, sure... but, um, $200+ gorgeous? I must be missing something. Somewhere around half that for all the bells and whistles maybe, but... geez. (Come on S-E, you know a cash cow when you see one.)
Well, just taking a break now, so... back to work for a bit I go. I'll leave you all with a collection of console start-ups. Oh, the memories. The PS1 start-up still gives me chills, a bit. *grin* Being introduced to Twisted Metal and Soul Blade late at night right off the bat will do that.
