Chapter 13 of "Broken Soldier" is up. I'm in that stage of knowing what happens but not how it happens and pretty going, "Dammit, guys, will you just clue me in a little here?" (The answer is no. The answer is always no.)

I think one of my insane friends might be right. *grin* There is something very... nice about meeting some of Zellie's other friends and relations as a result of the charity auction. It's a bit completing, you know? (Especially now; she had plans to visit the area in December, not so long ago.) Current count iis 48 views and 2 watches. Hope hope hope.

I also hope a damn lot that I'll still be able to catch Tron: Legacy in IMAX near-ish the end of the month. I figure I can use it as my birthday present or something. DUDE. TRON. I don't even care if it's shit at this point.

I feel a bit like slamming my head against a desk repeatedly. Must be that time of year, alright. Downing as many Halls Defense drops as I safely can. Come on, body, pick your ass up and stop annoying the fuck out of me.

And links. Just 'cause. Ursula Vernon has a way of giving never-ending advice without it really meaning to be advice. Truth, Beauty, and not worrying about it is full of such advice for writers. "Some authors do this thing. Actually, it’s a lot like Boneclaw Mother’s thing–an occasionally painful insight, but a very clear one, rephrased in a way that you wouldn't have thought to phrase it, but which you recognize the truth of immediately. It’s kind of like comedy, really–telling you something you already knew but didn’t quite realize you knew, in a way that’s funny, except that authors aren’t required to be funny all the time." (And don't worry, I don't know the first thing about "the human condition". Never been one, I think. *grin*)

I swear, when I have the money to spend again, I need to get Joe Danger. I'm still enjoying the demo, at least. Sean Murry of Hello Games: "Some game developers, they don’t play their own games, they don’t feel it’s an expression of themselves. I think that’s very sad."

Old folks in Japan like arcades! It makes me happy.

I find Understanding Pac-Man Ghost Behavior way more fascinating than I should.

More geek goodness: Terminator: How it Should End. Fuck yes.

Now I will see if my hand will allow me to work on this poor half-finished chocobo. Half a chocobo is truly a sad thing. Will I ever catch up? Gee I hope so.
