So here are a couple of quick shots of the second "FUCK CANCER" bracelet/choker because I just got done and I am done for the day. *long pause* But writing doesn't count as work, so I'll just give into that urge. Anyway, managed a few design improvements to add strength without losing flexibility. Also gave myself three more ideas in the process. Argh.
This arrived for me this morning. Okay, so it's not the exact shape as the one on the cover, but it's damn close enough. Terrible things will be done to this lamp. The terrible thing is, I'm not sure if I could ever actually get it to light up. The cord is kind of... quite damaged. I mean, including shipping, from France, this thing was under $10. I was not ripped off. In fact, I will just be devaluing it further. Gotta figure out how I want to yellow the shade first, though. Bleach just seems like a bad solution...
White gold wire arrived for me today too, ooooohhh I feel so fancy. I love being paid to play with new materials. Especially ones I would never get to on my own because fuck is white gold expensive. I still have this lovely torch I've never used because I'm still too nervous to play with silver beyond wire wrapping. *snort* I'll get there, dammit. Maybe.
Allow me to show you what awed this Zelda fan into a moment of silence yesterday morning. But it's not articulated orFierce Deity hotness so I think I'll be content to just look at the pictures. *grin* In further "holy shit, I love it but I'm not paying $300+" news, I love that Valtiel. And Pyramid Head. But not as much, somehow.
