Happy 10th Birthday, PS2! Come on, baby, you're still my favorite. We've had such adventures, you and I.
Actually, as is the pattern with myself and consoles, I got my PS2 the following year, a few days before Christmas. Devil May Cry, Twisted Metal: Black and GTA: Vice City were bought at the same time. I'm still using my original controller, by some miracle--though moving it too much will render it momentarily useless. Shall we say KH2's automatic pause when it senses the controller is unplugged was a godsend many, many times.
My tiny little counter-top oven works beautifully on clays that require baking, so if you'll excuse me... I am now fully back in business. (AND I CAN MAKE BISCUITS! OOOHHH!) After I'm done with that, I plan to celebrate PS2's birthday with, of course, some Devil May Cry... and hopefully I'll get back to comments this weekend. Sheesh.
