Chapter 4 of "Broken Soldier" is done, and there's a preview of the writing section of my web site which has a loooong way to go to being finished.
Oh, and Devil May Look on in Horror was updated, since I skimped last week.
I really need to stop these stupid thoughts. I'm currently not so quietly crushing the idea trying to turn only the first few chapters of "Broken Soldier" into a short-lived audio drama just to see what the dialog sounds like... and because I know who I'd want as Rean already, but not entirely sure on Demi and definitely not on Rakashi... She's kind of, ah... older and rougher, shall we say. .......Okay, so I have no right to call 30's "older", but there you go. Though I do have an idea on Sarah and eventually Andrew and then........ okay, bad idea. I r dumb and learn nothing from the past, leave me alone.
Seven Ages of Rock is pretty good, but... damn, it misses so much. A decent over-view to be sure, and full of information--but. Delving deeper will always require alternate sources, I suppose. (Not to mention a truly complete history of rock and roll would take absolutely forever.) But then maybe rock and roll will always come as close to my one true love as anything ever will. You don't sass my baby, and just because she dresses provocatively doesn't make her a whore.Unless she's KISS. *grin* Black Flag will forever fill me with violent hate, however. For them. Only for them.
Was given the okay to start buying appliances and other necessities today, ooohh. But I kind of have to do a little at a time because the credit card company is fidgety as all hell and too many purchases in a row makes them freak out and stop the card. Of course, they did that with Alastor (my PS3) for no apparent reason and I was about to experiment with psychically killing someone over the phone... aah, holiday memories. And then it arrived on my birthday and the UPS man dropped the box on the brick porch and I didn't make it to the door in time to yell at the jackass... Yes, holiday memories. ......Back to the point, yay things slowly coming together.
So, links. NIGHT OF THE LIVING TREKKIES. You know you want to see this! But damn I wish it were a movie instead of a "book trailer".
Kojima ought to know better than to even joke about Metal Gear Solid 5. However, the idea of Snake saving the world from a wheelchair made me laugh and I ought to feel terrible. I don't. Nor in the amusing image that follows, Otacon experimenting with putting entire meals in a blender.
Child of Eden yes. But anything remotely Rez-like fills me with happy. And no that has nothing to do with vibration. Yet.
Okay, back to site building. ...Maybe.
