It's just kind of hard to see past the "wounded fanboy" language and the "beating head against a brick wall" ranting, I think. *grin* Like I said, valid and decent points are definitely made and I won't argue that S-E is scrambling like it's freaking the hell out about every little thing. I suppose there are just too many red flags raised for me to see past the common "wah, why aren't they serving me personally, wah" attitude that automatically gets me to ignore people from then on.
At least what I've seen of Type-0 leaves me interested. And if Versus ever actually gets finished, I'm very interested to see if the recent earthquake gets woven into a story that's supposed to be "more about the real world". The idea of a FF7 remake still terrifies me, though. I think it terrifies most of the people who worked on the original game and considered the story done with Advent Children Complete.
I would kill to see a collaboration between Nomura and Kojima, though. Final Metal Solid Fantasy? ...No, wait, that would be a whole different kind of game...
