So what did I do with all of those lightcycles? BIG SURPRISE, I MADE THEM SHINY. You have your traditional red, orange, yellow and blue, then your newer white, black from one of Sam's toys, and then pink. Because... pink. You know what I need? A green one and a purple one, clearly. ...I admit that the mental image of Poison in "Grid shorts" and pink circuitry is really, really strong right now.

Anyway, yay for useless weekend tasks that weren't actually planned to be started let alone completed in the near future. But I cleaned, so I made myself useful. Kind of. I mean, enough. It's a balance. Of course, I painted these after I cleaned... so there's iridescent dust all over the desk and the carpet... but I won't tell if you won't.

The mark of an artist: doing delicate paint clean-up, belatedly realizing you've been using your (once) white shirt to wipe not-quite-dry paint chips off with, finding that it looks a hell of a lot more interesting than it did before and continuing.

Finally saw Waking Sleeping Beauty, which I have been wanting to see for some time. I guess you could call it the "modern rise and fall of Disney animation", but... it's a little more and a little less and really just interesting as hell. Nearly everyone came off sounding a little like a spoiled brat at one point or another, though. Could just be my perception.

Why We Don’t Have Female Characters is short and sweet and awesome.

And The Incredible Mr. Star Fox. Because it amuses me.

Now I'm just going to... sit here for a while. Dust + cleaning chemicals + paints and things have kind of taken their toll. But tomorrow... it is back to chocobo chicks.
