Suppose I may as well start doing this with everything. Most of the people I know are artists, so feel free to flaunt it, darlings. Anyone who complains can fuck right off. (It's not a mood, it's a lifestyle. *grin*)

Work is really going quickly downstairs, which is awesome. There's a real life shower in the bathroom, and a sink, and a light switch, oooohh. And the cupboards for the kitchen got delivered today, so it looks like some kind of a particularly interesting explosion happened with cabinetry and doors and half-finished counters everywhere. Now I'm sort of trying to find affordable shelving. ...Those two words don't actually go together, do they? This is disappointing. There are already plans to lay carpet by the end of the month, so... yeah. I'll be able to go back downstairs soon. ...But I do not relish the thought of moving everything back. Clearly I'll need to buy myself something else for unpacking everything.

Actually, well, not so much. I'm working on what's just going to be a "reward for work"/early birthday gift. Making payments. Because I like to pretend to be smart. Considering last year's birthday gift to myself was Alastor (the PS3), I no longer feel so bad about this one. Stupid, yes, but not bad. I wouldn't live outside of my means. Just on the very border.

And since I don't want to talk about any of the clusterfucks going on here, link time! Linked to because it completely cracked me up: "Tweeted Nomura earlier in the day, 'The battle planner for Versus appeared in my dream. "'Have you thought about effective use of Blizzard," I said angrily. And then woke up.'" I have no idea why that still makes me laugh so hard, but it does.

Contribute to the Fun Factor project! Which is pretty much just listing a game (or more) you found fun and explaining why. That sounds like a nice little exercise, doesn't it? You know, FUN? Part of why people play games? Remember that? Fun? Ahem.

Oh yes. Anyone still secretly hoping for Duke Nukem Forever just got poked with a very sharp stick. No matter what happens, it is great amusement to be watching.

Man, Mother fans are weird. *grin* No, no weirder than any other fan, I assure you. This custom stage is made of awesome. And seriously freaky shit. You know, I might make it through Earthbound some day. ...Possibly.

I loved Max Headroom. I apparently really need to see it again.

This is pretty much why I could not fucking stand school. I mean, the other part was being in a hick town in the middle of a drug trafficking path from Mexico full of white trash "god-fearing" assholes, but the education system was to blame as well. Too bad I missed my ten year reunion, right?

And finally, some nice creepy/lovely/nightmarish artwork for you all: Angels, clowns and a deep dark place: the art of Mariano Villalba.
