I Suck at This Update Business.

I still live, yes. Got a custom commissioned Journey cuff done for a truly lovely person, and one chocobo down for Desert Bus for Hope. Now I really need to redo my gallery due to a great many software updates fucking it up beyond repair but... I'll get there.

So my computer, the illustrious BITCH, exploded. Figuratively. The power supply finally just silently died and since the computer was 7 years old... yeah, time for a new one. I'm still getting used to BITCH II. I'm still paying off BITCH II. Happy with the computer, not so much about the Windows--story of my life, but it works and that's kind of extremely fucking important. I was way too excited to play Audiosurf and Sumotori again.

The wasband/housemate actually got a tablet for a birthday/Christmas gift and I think it's really been complimenting his art style. He's actually really happy to have it, and there really isn't much more entertaining than seeing someone really happy with their creative ability. Expect more fun digital art.

Geez, what else is there... The usual insane baking, because if you're gonna have dessert then you better have dessert. Night Vale. Waiting for Tiger & Bunny: The Rising. Still somehow writing that ongoing "Black Tiger" AU that I actually only have so much control of. Finally getting the wasband to watch Tron: Uprising (followed by hilarious conversation about stupid decision making.) Say K(-Project), liked. Saw Psychopass, liked but fucking hate the ending. (I liked that I hated it so much, though. ...I think that make sense if you/'ve watch/ed it.) Watched waaaaaay more space, quantum physics and general science documentaries than I could possibly list. Dove into Isaac Asimov's first volume of complete short stories. Stopped exactly halfway in the book, in the middle of my favorite story, because I wasn't ready to the book to end. Stopped halfway. Not ready for the 614-page book to end. For me, that is a good sign; but I'll finish it. It's worth savoring. My god I missed old sci-fi more than I knew. Totally loving this little wave of hard science space horror happening lately, too. A tiny wave. Little bitty. I hope it grows.

DID YOU HEAR THERE'S GONNA BE A KINGDOM HEARTS 3? Yes, I had to do that. Because I honestly still don't know if that was a dream or what. Had to be, right? (It wasn't a dream. Or was it? I don't know.)

Did you hear anything about The Last Guardian? Me neither. Ha ha sobbing.

I do check in here every so often, though. Always good to hear you guys are still alive, too.
