Project OMGWTFF, Day 26 - THIS IS WHAT I DID TODAY.
Why am I doing this?
Project OMGWTFF, Day 27 - Things attached to stuff today. Leaps and bounds! ...And pain everywhere, so stopped quite early. I officially declare this the weekend.
And still, even this far in, I must ask... why am I doing this?
Project OMGWTFF, Day 28 - There is light. Light at the end of the tunnel! Or I am dying, sure, but either way at this point. ...Ahem.
If all goes well, everything major will be finished up tomorrow, then it’s just minor details. Which could still take a week or more for me, granted, but oh how far I’ve come.
...So why am I doing this?
Project OMGWTFF, Day 29 - A teaser image? Sure you can have a teaser image. HA HA HA—*ducks*
We’re in the home stretch now, folks. Just minor detail work to go. Not that I have any idea how long that will take. Why am I doing this?
Project OMGWTFF, Day 30 - (Today.) ...All will be revealed tomorrow.
Too bad my body/nature seems fully determined to kill me. Unholy obnoxious fuck, man, this time of year is brutal. Opened the window for ten minutes this morning and I'm still suffering for it. Sure I hate winter, but at least all of the allergens are dead. ...Or sleeping, but it's more fun to think they're dead. Bandaaaaaaai, where is my Wild Tiger already... *gently shakes internet*
And that's my complaining for the week, I think. I've just finished a 30-day-long project, I think this calls for celebration of some kind. ...Which doesn't involve purchasing anything. ...........Damn.
Ahem, yes, so how about some links I've been saving up? Sometimes it's nice to be reminded that video games are made by real people. Sometimes it's really nice when these real people turn out to be awesome.
Aperture: A Triumph of Science is a fan-made "documentary" that is well worth watching if you like Portal at all. It's really quite delightful.
Femme Fan Fury at DC 52: Confessions of a Former Superhero Comics Fan is actually interesting. I seem amazed because I am. *grin* I don't even follow DC comics (never did; anything besides various incarnations of Batman or the original couple of Superman movies bore me; I'll take my Spidey and hide in my little corner, thank you), but I keep seeing women ("feminists", I think they call themselves) frothing at the mouth and using intensely vicious attacking language over sexist blah blah something then I stop reading. I understand the cause, but there's a difference between being upset and taking action and just liking to be pissed off at something. This article, however, manages to explain the outrage, compares types of fanservice, and even mentions, you know, alternatives to trying to force change on a company that clearly isn't interested. (I would like to encourage taking the "make what you don't see/hear/read" stance rather than "force something to change", yeah? Seems... overall better that way.) Admittedly, the mention of Tiger & Bunny was a nice bonus. Heh.
Hey guys, remember Geocities? The Deleted City is just as mildly creepy as it is interesting. *grin*
I continue to await METAL GEARS.
My Star Trek Quiet Book is... amazing beyond words. Just amazing. Unfortunately, I think it may have sparked terrible ideas.
The Gigamesh remix of Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" (YouTube link; MP3 available upon request) is luscious and hilarious at the same time, by the way.
