What did I do instead of relaxing yesterday morning? Edit Chapter 16 of "Broken Soldier" of course. But that's still kind of relaxing, so hey.

DMLoiH isn't dead, either. The general feeling of bleh is still present, but a lot less than it has been, hence playing with toys and making myself laugh.

Every once in a while I manage to get sleep enough to dream. *grin* It was quite wonderful; there was a "natural labyrinth" in the middle of Central Park in New York, where fauns and satyrs and all kinds of other mysterious, playful and most often dangerous (to wandering humans who didn't know any better) creatures lived. It was a bit of an attraction, but right outside was a sign stating that if you didn't come out of the labyrinth, you couldn't hold the city of New York responsible. Glorious. I wandered in and met a young man who appeared human even though he quite obviously felt differently, eyes just a little more red than brown. He was nice enough, though; walked along with me for a while, asking somewhat standard human-ish questions ("where you from", "what do you do", "what brings you here", etc.)--except for the last one, "And how do you plan to escape this labyrinth?" I responded, "I'm not sure that I do." Which made him laugh and change directions. "Here, then," he invited, "At least stay around the apple trees so you'll have enough to eat." I woke up feeling surprisingly rested, thinking, "I would not doubt this place exists in there somewhere."

And now I relax and try to get caught up on a few things before it's back to chocobos tomorrow. Next up, LEGS!
