The Horror of Pants

Spent this afternoon doing a re-pack of everything and consolidating and holy crap I actually have room for it all... so far. This is scary. Of course everything will probably weigh a hell of a lot, but I'll deal. I might even have room to slip my Harleys in, which would be magnificent. I love my ass-kicker bitch boots, but when we're just walking around places, I would love to have my comfy Harleys. Even if they are falling apart. And pants, I will need to pack pants still. I know, it's disappointing, but at some point I will probably need pants.

And why not, a few links. This one because it is amusing: "Neutron Dance" meets Tron dancers meets the Electric Light Parade. You know you need this in your life.

...And since I've already mentioned Tron, may I just say that Kosinski is a fucking tease.

I heard that Duff McKagan and Axl Rose met up by sheer accident in a London hotel, and Axl asked Duff to be on stage with him. I immediately made a noise that can't be described and went to find evidence. Sweeeet. I'm not going to pretend like there will ever be a full reunion, but this is really quite awesome. (You know... I've got to cut Axl a hell of a lot of slack. Yeah, Chinese Democracy took a billion fucking years, and his lifestyle back then kind of affected his voice and breath control now [and, you know, age, sadly], but he got back on his feet, he's still out there and unapologetic. GNR will always, always be one of my favorites, and you whipper snappers should do yourselves a favor and actually at least read the lyrics to the Use Your Illusions albums sometime. *grin*) It continually annoys the wasband when I refer to Axl and Slash's fallout as a bad break-up, but... that's what it was. You don't have to be fucking someone to have a relationship that deep. Yes, even a "slash enthusiast" can see that. *grin* Some day maybe I'll be brave enough to find that Axl/Slash... er, slash, again.

A video game specifically for relieving anger in a game rather than the real world. I never thought I'd see someone admitting to that. Awesome. And I quote, "'The plan with Asura's wrath was that we wanted to make a game where players could take out their stress. Asura is the avatar of the player's anger.'" I'm still cool with the mass murder of Marionettes in Devil May Cry, but it's an intriguing thought.
